my name is gregory! I am a 28 year old filmmaker who currently resides in queens. I am currently on a limited income and money is REALLY TIGHT. Due to personal differences with my current roommate, i am currently looking for another living situation and can afford to pay first months rent only. However, i do come with references and will furnish you with pay-stubs from the two jobs i work as proof that i am employed and trustworthy.

so with that in mind, let me tell you a what i am like around the house as a roommate. I work from 6am to 10am at job number 1, and i work from 10:30am to 6:00pm at job number 2, so i am out of the house most of the day. I like to cook and have been known to share what i cook with my roommates as a token of appreciation. i do my fair share of housework, and like to keep things orderly as per the arraignment with my fellow roommates. on the saturdays i work a four hour shift at job number one also. after my shift on the weekends, i come home, get out of my work clothes, cook lunch and now that the weather is nicer, like to get out of the house and hang out with friends. on my day off i am also known to be out of the house a good portion of the day also, so i hope you get the idea that you will barely see me around the house if your the type of roommate who craves privacy.

i smoke, so if you dont mind a smoker that would be swell and i will smoke outside of the house if you ask me to. i do not drink or use any sort of illicit substances (i do have two years clean and sober and i like to think i lead a relatively sane life so insofar as drama is concerned i not only do not tolerate it, i am not about drama period) and when i am not working, i am working on projects that i would like to see developed (i am currently trying to get my first short into production a.s.a.p) so i am usually quiet and working on that also.

i am gay, however i do not mind living with straight people just as long as your cool and drama free. if ever you see me around the house and your chill and mellow, i am also chill and mellow and would like to engage in friendly conversation and hope that not only does the roommate situation work beautifully, i hope that a friendship also arises out of it also. the most i can afford to pay is $600 a month rent and utilities total. I am looking to live in either astoria queens, long island city, washington heights, or the upper west side if the occasion arises. i hope to hear from you soon and am looking to leave my current situation by 4/1.

I’m looking for a sublet for the month of March. I currently live in an apartment on the UWS whose lease runs out at the end of February, and I will be moving into another apartment with a roommate at the beginning of April, but I need somewhere to stay in between. I am looking to pay no more than $600 for this month that I stay. My preference is somewhere in Manhattan on the west side (particularly the Upper West Side, Harlem, or Washington Heights), but I am willing to consider anywhere else in Manhattan, as well as Brooklyn and Queens.

Some more about me: I am a 28-year old guy. I have lived in New York for three years now. I work as a Research Analyst at a market research firm in midtown Manhattan. My favorite pasttimes in the city include checking out the nightlife, going to museums, eating out, and working out. I am a very laid-back person who is easy to get along with, and gives his roommates their appropriate space while still being friendly. Hi there! There are 2 rooms available in our apartment starting March 1st. Two roommates are moving out (one is moving in with her bf, the other back to her home state). The third roommate, an event planner from Minnesota, is staying.

We’re looking for two early- to mid-20’s roommates to fill the rooms. The building is on the corner of 68th St. and 1st Ave., has a 24-hour doorman for the majority of the week, laundry in the basement, and a dishwasher.

One room is smaller (approx 10×7). It fits a full-size bed and dresser comfortably, and comes with 2 closets in the hallway for clothes/storage. This room is $850 plus utilities (which usually come out to around $70 per month).

The second room is a bit larger (approx 10×10), and is $950 plus utilities.

The roommates in these two rooms share a bathroom.

Additionally, we require a $1000 security deposit for each room.

I am a single professional M looking for one cool roommate (M or F within the age of late 20’s to mid 30’s or so) to rent a two bedroom apartment in the FiDi, Chelsea or Midtown-West/HK area. Ideally a high-rise luxury building with all the free amenities such as gym, pool*, doorman, laundry, etc…. The two of us would have to at least commit to a 1 year lease. Must have a steady job (9-5), being able to pay rent ON-TIME as well as the utilities, be respectful and considerate to each others privacy and property. Being respectful during bedtime hours specially on week days is a MUST since we all work hard and have to be up and running for the next day! Being able to clean and pick-up after yourself is another MUST!

It is cool to host casual dinner parties every once in a while specially on weekends as well as being able to have guests visiting, but not for too long and neither all the time. Last but not least, we all should be able to get along with each other and live in agreement since we already have to deal with the outside environment everyday that really drags you down sometimes. Oh and very important…I would want a roommate that does not smoke inside the apartment at anytime, no drugs of any kind and non alcoholic and/or crazy fetishes’!
